Projects and programmes

The majority of our funds go directly to the projects and missions we carry out in collaboration with local partners. This includes, amongst other things, preventive dental care for children, training for local healthcare staff, and fieldwork.

Training & Capacity

Part of our funding goes towards strengthening local capacity and knowledge – because sustainable change requires skills to be embedded locally. This may take the form of teaching materials, courses or training for local health communicators, so that they themselves can carry on the preventive work.

Fundraising & communication

In order to continue our work, we rely on private donations from individuals, members and businesses. These funds go towards activities that ensure we can raise awareness of our work and attract the support we need – from campaigns and newsletters to partnerships and events.

Administration for the secretariat

A well-functioning organisation is essential for responsible project management and the efficient use of resources. We are constantly working to ensure that administrative processes support – rather than hinder – our core activities.

Annual reports

Our annual reports are audited by an independent auditor and contain detailed financial statements, summaries of activities and the Board of Directors’ report. The annual reports are available here.

Approvals

Dental Health Without Borders is registered as a charitable organisation with the Danish Civil Administration and approved under Section 8A of the Tax Assessment Act, which means that donations to the organisation may be tax-deductible.
