Our focus is on sustainable change through our programmes and long-term local capacity-building.
Deployment of dental professionals
Every year, volunteer dentists, students, dental hygienists and dental assistants travel to the countries where we run our projects to treat acute pain and share knowledge that strengthens local dental care.
School programmes
At the heart of our school programmes are daily toothbrushing and lessons on oral hygiene. This fosters lifelong habits that kids take home and practice every day.
Capacity building
We train local healthcare professionals, teachers and partners so that knowledge and skills remain within the local community and bring about lasting change.
Measuring impact
We systematically measure and document the impact of our work so that we know what works and can bring about lasting change.
