Susanne Kleist
Chair
A dentist and clinic owner with extensive organisational experience, including as Chair of the Danish Dental Association from 2018 to 2024.
Bo Danielsen
Vice-chairman
Head of the School of Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists at the University of Copenhagen, with experience in research, teaching and international collaboration, as well as an active involvement in the dental community.
Martin Teilmann
Treasurer
Master of Science in Political Science with extensive experience in health administration and management, including key roles in government departments and non-governmental organisations, as well as experience as a consultant and adjudicator.
Dennis Hindsberg
Board member
An experienced manager with senior management experience across several companies, most recently as Chief Executive Officer at Plandent, as well as experience of serving on boards in the dental industry.
Malene Hallund
Board member
Specialist in dental, oral and maxillofacial surgery, owner of a referral clinic and consultant dentist at the University of Copenhagen, as well as an active course leader focusing on public health.
Peter Østergaard
Board member
Chair of the Capital Region Dental Association and a dental practice owner with over 20 years’ experience, including work in Greenland and in the field of psychiatry. Committed to social dentistry and a volunteer manager of a dental clinic for socially vulnerable people.
Mie Blædel Jørgensen
Board member
A dentist with experience in both private practice and municipal dental care, as well as from several assignments on international dental missions. Has many years’ experience of board work and voluntary work for the organisation.
Laura Horne
Alternate board member
Dental student and research fellow at the Department of Dentistry, University of Copenhagen, and contact person for the Dental Health Without Borders volunteer network in Copenhagen.
Mathilde Roed
Alternate board member
A dental student at the University of Copenhagen and a member of the Volunteer Network.
Annual General Assembly
The Board is elected at the Annual General Assembly, which is held in June. All members are entitled to vote and may stand for election to the Board.
